The France forward has been on the Gunners’ radar since January
Ligue 1 side Nice have tabled a bid for Arsenal target M’Baye Niang, according to reports in France.
The 23-year-old emerged as a surprise target for the Gunners last season and he remains on their radar.
Nice are in the market for a new striker and boss, former Arsenal midfielder, Patrick Vieira is hopeful of beating his old club to Niang’s signature.
So much so that, according to Tutto Mercato, the French club have stolen a march on their transfer rivals by making an initial offer for the Torino man.
The report further states that Nice have bid around £12m for Niang, who bagged four goals in Serie A last season.
Arsenal are continuing to track the Senegal international, with Unai Emery declaring that further new signings could be made before the season kicks off.
