Everton, Liverpool, Wolves and Lyon have all also been linked with the Colombia international
Manchester United have made an offer for Barcelona defender Yerry Mina, according to reports.
Mina, the centre-back, was one of the stars of the summer’s World Cup, with his three goals in the tournament helping Colombia reach the round-of-16.
Despite his fine performances in Russia, Mina is expected to leave Barcelona this summer having failed to establish himself at Camp Nou since his arrival from Palmeiras in January.
The 23-year-old made just six appearances in all competitions across the second half of 2017/18, and Ernesto Valverde wants to get rid of Mina to free up one of the valuable non-EU spots in Barcelona’s first-team squad.
Premier League trio Everton, Liverpool and Wolves are said to be interested in the centre-back, while Lyon of France emerged as a potential destination earlier this week.
And Spanish publication Sport say Mina’s representative has received numerous offers from clubs across Europe in recent weeks – including Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho, the United manager, wants to bring a new central defender to Old Trafford this summer, with the likes of Harry Maguire, of Leicester, and Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld linked with the Red Devils.
No previous reports have claimed Mina to be a target of United’s, but he is on the market and if the reported bid is true, there is a good chance Mourinho will get his man, with Barca looking to sell him.
