Sveinn Aaron Gudjohnsen is following in his father’s footsteps as a professional centre-forward
Italian club Spezia have signed Sveinn Aaron Gudjohnsen, son of former Chelsea star Eidur Gudjohnsen.
The 20-year-old, who is also a striker like his father was, spent part of his youth career at Barcelona.
More recently the youngster has been plying his trade in his native Iceland for Breidablik.
However, Gudjohnsen has now made the move to Italy after Spezia swooped to bring him in.
The Serie B club were reportedly scouting the striker last season and they have now firmed up their interest by bringing him in.
His father scored 54 Premier League goals in 186 appearances for Chelsea, winning two league titles.
