Dortmund are reportedly willing to cut their losses after talks with Pulisic over a new contract have reportedly broken down
Liverpool and Chelsea are on red alert after reports from Germany have emerged that Borussia Dortmund would be willing to sell highly rated teenager Christian Pulisic.
The winger, 19, is contracted at BVB until 2020, but could be on his way to the Premier League as interest in the USA international hots up.
And according to Bild, talks between Pulisic’s representatives and Dortmund over a new contract have broken down.
It is understood the Bundesliga giants have now put Pulisic on the transfer market and are willing to listen to offers in the region of £62million.
Pulisic sparked speculation he could be heading to Anfield by heaping praise on ex-boss at Dortmund and current Reds manager Jurgen Klopp.
He told Goal: “He [Klopp]was there when I came.
“I was obviously playing with the youth teams at Dortmund, but he was the one who gave me my first professional training session, just to give me a taste of it.
“He always accepted me and he was very kind to me, so I will always be thankful for that. I know he’s a great guy, and it’s nice to see him doing so well for Liverpool.
“I personally didn’t get to know him too well, but I’ve heard stories from some of my team-mates who did, and they loved playing for him.”
Pulisic showed he had an eye for goal against his potential new employers when he bagged a brace during Dortmund’s 3-1 over Liverpool in the International Champions Cup last week.
He scored five goals and made seven assists for Dortmund in all competitions in the 2017/18 season.
