Sean Dyche wants to sign the striker after his relegation last season
Peter Crouch could be set to make an immediate return to the Premier League by signing for Burnley.
Following his relegation with Stoke, it appeared the famously tall striker was going to be tasked with adapting to a new environment next season.
However, according to the Sun, the 6ft 7in forward is the target of a £500k Burnley bid.
It is understood that the Clarets’ manager Sean Dyche has put the deal together as he wants an attacker who can compete with Sam Vokes, Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood.
Despite being 37 years of age, Crouch netted two goals in his last six games of the 2017/18 season.
He was also a surprise target for Chelsea back in January and has just one year remaining on his contract at Stoke.
