It’s not clear whether the Belgian will sign on loan or on a permanent basis
Watford are considering a move for out of favour Liverpool striker Divock Origi.
The Reds are keen to sell Origi, 23, as part of a desired summer clearout at Anfield.
However, the Hornets only want to take Origi on a season-long loan rather than pay Liverpool’s £26million asking price for a permanent deal, despite being boosted by the £50million sale of Richarlison.
Fellow Belgian Michy Batshuayi is also in the running to move to Vicarage Road but Spanish side Valencia appear to be the favourites to sign the Chelsea man.
Origi spent last season on loan at Wolfsburg and returned to Liverpool for the start of their pre-season campaign.
But it seems Daniel Sturridge and Dominic Solanke are higher in the pecking order up front, suggesting Origi will look for a move elsewhere.
