Italian side told by the Gunners they must pay up if they want to snap up the Spanish forward
Lazio have been told by Arsenal they must pay £7million if they want to snap up Spanish forward Lucas Perez.
The 29-year-old is allowed to leave north London this window with Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leading the line for the Gunners.
He spent last season on loan at former club Deportivo, scoring eight goals and making six assists.
Perez has since returned for pre-season training and there are claims that the forward has held conversations with new boss Unai Emery regarding his future.
It would appear that Emery is ready to offload Perez and Lazio are ready to swoop.
According to Corriere di Roma, Arsenal have set Perez’s asking price at just £7million, which should suit both parties.
Lazio sporting director Igli Tare is confident that a deal can be concluded, with the striker set to leave the Gunners before the start of the season.
