The Manchester United left-back was involved in a collision with Dani Carvajal
Luke Shaw was walking and talking in the England dressing room after being stretchered off with a head injury during a match against Spain on Saturday.
With the Three Lions 2-1 down in their UEFA Nations League opener, the Man United defender collided with Real Madrid’s Dani Carvajal.
Shaw’s head appeared to slam against the floor as he landed and there was a long break in play as a result.
He eventually left the field on a stretcher after being given oxygen, but was reported to be conscious in the dressing room after the incident.
Gareth Southgate looked on with concern from the sidelines while his club manager Jose Mourinho watched the situation from the stands.
Shaw later tweeted: “Thank you for all the love and support I am doing fine and am in the best hands. I’m a fighter so I will be back soon!”
