The World Cup winning midfielder has been awarded an 88 overall for the latest instalment of the hit video game series
The latest player ratings for FIFA 19, the latest edition of the hit EA Sports video game, have been revealed.
Counting down from 40 to 31, the players unveiled include Gareth Bale, the Real Madrid forward, legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, and Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen.
Paul Pogba is another star to be included in this section of the countdown, with the Manchester United and France midfielder awarded an overall rating of 88.
On further inspection, Pogba has also been given four stars for his weak foot, whilst he is also, incredibly, a five star skill player.
The 25-year-old’s overall rating is the same as he was awarded in the FIFA 18 winter upgrade, though that in itself was a one point increase on his base rate for last year’s instalment of the game (87).
Pogba’s World Cup card had the midfielder rated 90 overall, but that has been reduced for FIFA 19.
Despite not being boosted since the winter upgrade, fans of the game have not taken Pogba’s FIFA 19 rating all that well.
Many people could not believe his overall remains so high, while there was also criticism for his five star skill rating.

The fact that PAUL POGBA has 5 star skills on FIFA 19 is seriously making me consider PES…Who makes this stuff up man?

No way Pogba is 88 rated. 85 max in my opinion, Utd fan as well!

Pogba was 87 rated in fifa 18. Had a bad season. Gets upgraded to 88 on fifa 19. Love how EA think

I love Pogba but why is he an 88 rated? If Ozil got downgraded to 86 then Pogba should be somewhere similar
