A Match for Cancer featured a number of ex-Liverpool stars in the game
Jurgen Klopp is one of the characters of the game but the team talk he gave for his Liverpool side’s charity match was hilarious by his standards.
The Reds boss took charge of James Milner’s Liverpool side who were facing Stiliyan Petrvo’s Celtic side at Parkhead at the weekend and the German’s pre-match speech was something to behold!
Klopp said he “didn’t care” how long the players wanted to play for which included ex-Liverpool stars Luis Garcia and Jamie Redknapp.
However, he told Redknapp he would have to play 120 minutes as he was working as a pundit which was met with a chorus of laughter.
The match between Liverpool and Celtic XIs – which finished 3-3 – was in aid of the James Milner Foundation, the Celtic FC Foundation and the Stiliyan Petrov Foundation.
