Maurizio Sarri will be without Ruben Loftus-Cheek, while Cesc Fabregas could return from injury to feature on the bench
Chelsea will be looking to extend their 100% record in the Premier League when they welcome winless Cardiff to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Maurizio Sarri has enjoyed four wins from his opening four league games and should have a full strength side at his disposal.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek picked up foot injury on England duty and is expected to be out for a couple of weeks, although it is likely he would’ve missed out to Mateo Kovacic in midfield.
Cesc Fabregas has returned to training after recovering from a knee injury which has kept him out since the start of the season and could be fit enough to make the bench.
The vast majority of Sarri’s squad will be returning from a busy international break with their countries and the Italian admitted it is difficult to prepare when so many players are away.
Cardiff will travel to west London in hope of an unlikely first win of the season. Neil Warnock’s newly-promoted side put in a brave display against Arsenal, coming from behind twice before eventually losing 3-2.
Warnock revealed his Bluebirds are ‘not good enough’ to sit back against the top sides, so expect Cardiff to have a go.
Here is how talkSPORT expect Chelsea to line up:
Chelsea XI: Arrizabalaga; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic; Pedro, Morata, Hazard
