Spanish shot-stopper could return to Turkey after failing to make an impact in the Premier League
Fulham goalkeeper Fabri could return to Besiktas in January and replace Liverpool loan flop Loris Karius.
Fabri, 30, would be returning to the Turkish giants, who he left in the summer to join the Cottagers, having made just two Premier League appearances for Slavisa Jokanovic’s struggling side.
Fabri is reportedly unhappy with his bit-part status in the Fulham squad and he has declared his desire to return to Turkey in the near future.
And, according to Fotomac, the Spaniard may get his wish with Besiktas ready to send back Karius to Liverpool ahead of the January window.
The Turks have been so unimpressed with the German’s performances that they are ready to cut short his two-year loan after just six months.
Karius’ return to Liverpool will vacant the number one spot at Besiktas and they are ready to turn to a former favourite in Fabri to fill the position.
Fulham are understood to be ready to consider offers for the out-of-favour goalkeeper and it could be just a matter of time before Besiktas touch base with the Premier League strugglers.
