The full-back, who recently joined on a free from Fulham, was injured during the 1-1 draw with Huddersfield earlier this month
West Ham right-back Ryan Fredericks will miss the rest of 2018 with a shin injury.
The 26-year-old is ruled out for three months after picking up the injury in the 1-1 draw with Huddersfield before the international break.
He joins Manuel Lanzini, Andriy Yarmolenko, Winston Reid, Carlos Sanchez, Jack Wilshere and Andy Carroll on the injury list.
The full-back has already begun a rehabilitation course and is hoping to return in early 2019.
Fredericks has made four league appearances for the Hammers since joining from Fulham on a free transfer in the summer.
Although Pablo Zabaleta has been preferred to Fredericks for much of the season, he is now Manuel Pellegrini’s only fit senior right-back.
