Spurs give youngster spot in the group heading to the King Power stadium but it’s unlikely he will make the matchday squad
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino have named 16-year-old starlet Troy Parrott as part for their travelling squad to face Leicester City, it has been reported.
Spurs are currently in the midst of an injury crisis and a fixture pile up which will see them play once every three days until mid-January.

Parrott, a striker, has been in scintillating form for the club’s youth teams, scoring 11 goals in 17 games, while also getting five assists.
According to the Irish Independent, the youngster who is represented by the same agency behind Tottenham superstar Harry Kane, has already been training with the first-team but this trip to Leicester City shows his increased involvement and how highly rated the player is.
He is unlikely to make the bench but shows Spurs may be getting ready to use him in emergency situations.
Parrott has previously stated his belief he’s in the right place to begin his career.
He told the Irish Independent: “With the staff and top players around me at Spurs, I know I’ll have the best chance of progressing. They’re a club that have always brought young players into the first team.”
