READY FOR BARCA

Mauricio Pochettino’s men will now turn their attention to facing Barca at the Nou Camp in a crucial Champions League clash

Tottenham Hotspur produced a clinical performance to defeat Leicester City 2-0 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday night.

Spurs took a 1-0 lead into half-time after Son Heung-min struck in stoppage time with a brilliant curling effort from outside the area.

Son turned provider in the 58th minute as Spurs doubled their lead.

His cross picked out Alli at the back post and the England international headed in his third league goal of the campaign.

Tottenham’s 2-0 victory moved them back up to third in the Premier League, six points off leaders Liverpool.

Star Man – Dele Alli

The England international now has more goals and assists in the Premier League at 22 than Steven Gerrard, Paul Scholes and Frank Lampard.

His movement and predatory instincts make him a constant threat and he can manipulate defenders without even touching the ball.

Moment of the match

Alli’s goal, his 50th in the league for Spurs, bore a remarkable similarity to his first goal.

Scored in a 2-2 draw at the same end on the same ground against the same team, the youngster stooped low to head home past Kasper Schmeichel in August 2015.
